Following the first round of adjudication in the National Eisteddfod Academy Young Performer Awards Competition that took place from 5 – 14 March at the Roodepoort Theatre, the NEA takes great pleasure in announcing the names of the quarter-finalists that will compete in the Quarter-final rounds from 17 – 19 March at the Roodepoort Basement Theatre.

- The following participants have qualified as Quarter Finalists in the Combined First and Quarter Final rounds for Dance on 6 and 8 March.
The names of the semi-finalists have already been selected by the adjudicators’ panels on 6 and 8 March and will be announced together with the names of the semifinalists in the other genres:

Please note that there will not be a separate quarter final round in the dance section. The adjudication in the dance section on 6 and 8 March comprised of both an initial Quarter-final selection based on the adjudicators results where all participants that achieved the predetermined cut-off mark were all considered as quarter-finalists. The names of these candidates will be announced soon. All these candidates will also receive certificates to this effect.
From these quarter-finalists the adjudicators’ panel then made a final selection of participants that will be invited to participate in the Semi-final round for Dance on 10 May 2025. These names will be announced together will the names of semi-finalists in music and drama.
