The annual National Eisteddfod of South Africa^® presents opportunities to young South African talent in all communities for participation and showcasing their talents in music, dance, theatre and fine arts. The Eisteddfod of South Africa serves as a springboard to prepare learners for a career in the performing arts. Although aspiring participants can already start with preparations, this platform will only open for new entries on 1 APRIL 2025.

The annual National Eisteddfod of South Africa^®is presented in various regions during August – October. Regional National Eisteddfod events consists of adjudicated sessions where any performers can participate in the following categories.
