Young Performer Awards Video Recorded entries

How do I submit a video recording for this competition?

There are 2 categories for submitting video recorded entries:
:

  • Participants in the National Eisteddfod in the year preceding the current competition. Achievement on diploma level is required.
    • Individual participants and small groups can submit entries ONLINE with their unique participant numbers
    • Large groups can also submit entries ONLINE with their User Code and Password
    • The video recorded entry should be submitted before 16:00 on Tuesday 19 March 2019.
    • Copies of the Hard Copy Entry form and proof of payment should be included with the recording.

National Eisteddfod participants:

  • Participants in other festivals / competitions in the year preceding the current competition. Achievement of 90%+ or on diploma level required
    • Proof of achievement should be submitted with the entry / entries.
    • Individual participants and groups can only submit their entries in “Hard copy” format (by e-mail, fax, paper copy)
    • The video recorded entry should be submitted before 16:00 on Tuesday 19 March 2019.
    • Copies of the Hard Copy Entry form and proof of payment should be included with the recording.

Participants in other festival / competitions:

Important: Participants in other festivals cannot enter ONLINE.

Once you have downloaded and completed the necessary form, it has to be completed and faxed / e-mailed with the necessary supportive documents  attached (proof of payment and achievement in other festival / eisteddfod) to:

(This information applies to all participants in the annual National Eisteddfod of SA 2018, as well as participants in Other Festivals during 2018) wanting to submit Recorded Performances ONLY for adjudication in the FIRST ROUND of the Young Performer Awards Competition )

VIDEO RECORDED ENTRIES – ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR  SELECTED QUARTER FINALISTS ONLY

In order to create an opportunity for more participants in remote regions to compete in this competition, the VIDEO RECORDED category is offered at a fairly reduced fee for participation in the First Round only.

In all fairness towards all other participants, all candidates that submitted video recordings for adjudication in the First Round will therefor be subjected to an one-off additional fee, but ONLY if they ares subsequently invited to the Quarter Final Round.
